How quickly did people immediately jump to a “terrorism” theory when they heard the news of a taxi hitting pedestrians in Boston? My guess is blink of an eye conclusion since we’re programmed to do so- PB/TK
10 Injured As Taxi Hits Pedestrians Near Boston Airport: Police – By Nina Golgowski / July 3 2017
An incident at Boston’s Logan Airport that injured 10 Monday afternoon is not believed to be intentional, Massachusetts State Police said.
A taxi driver slammed into people sitting in an outdoor break area around 1:40 p.m., State Police Maj. Frank McGinn said at a press conference.
“It appears at this point that all of the injured were fellow cab drivers,” he said of the victims, whose injuries are said to range in severity. One of the victims is in serious condition, police said.
The driver, who was identified only as a 56-year-old Cambridge man, was described as having no known ties to terrorism and is cooperating with authorities.
“He is known to be a very nice gentleman,” McGinn said.
