Trump Jr. slams double standard over attack on YouTube headquarters – By Carlos Garcia (theblaze.com) / April 4 2018
Donald Trump Jr. took to his social media account to bash the media for what he identified as a double standard in reporting on the attack on YouTube offices Tuesday.
Here’s what he said
Trump Jr. wondered in a rhetorical question if the social media accounts of the suspected attacker were shut down because she was liberal.
“You think there’s any chance whatsoever that a mass shooters hateful Instagram and YouTube channels would be pulled immediately if they were NRA members as opposed to liberal Vegan PETA activists?” he tweeted.
“Asking for a few million friends in the @NRA,” he added, sarcastically.

The identity of the suspect in the YouTube attack was released by police Tuesday evening, and immediately her social media accounts were being shared online – until they were taken offline very soon after.
Trump Jr. appeared to imply that had the attacker been politically right-wing, or an NRA member, that the social media accounts would have been allowed to linger so that the media could push a political narrative.
The attacker had Instagram and YouTube accounts that were shut down, as well as her own website. She had posted videos that criticized any killing of animals for food or sport.
Three were wounded in the attack, and the suspect took her own life as police approached. The perpetrator used a handgun in the attack, and it appears that she was disgruntled about the monetary policies of the company, as she was an avid user of the online video service.
PB/TK -I rarely agree with Don Don Jr, but I will agree that anyone who commits a violent crime, be it the Youtuber shooter or someone shouting hate speech to idiots placing brutal beatings or humiliation videos and so on, absolutely those accounts should be shutdown immediately, but should we be judging the speed of how quickly they are shuttered.
