Connecticut’s Sales, Income Tax Revenues Fall Short Halfway Through Budget Year – By OAN Staff (oann.com) / Dec 14 2017

Connecticut is in deep trouble again as they continue to struggle with budget projections.

A report released Thursday, indicates the New England state is $208 million in the hole only halfway into its budget year.

This happened even after state lawmakers enacted spending cuts, and raised the price of motor vehicle registrations.

Democrat Governor Dannel Malloy issued a proposal on Wednesday to close the gap.

His recommendations include more spending cuts, and tax increases on the sale of cigarettes.

According to a similar report, ten states will use “rainy day” funds to finance their budgets this year.

In the meantime, the U.S. economy continues upward with record expansion.

PB/TK – Seems that Connecticut has gone to “oppo-Kansas”, meaning their budget didn’t equal the promises. Kansas’ Gov Brownback and Congress made massive tax cuts, but didn’t cut spending and fell into a massive, so they cut more taxes and fell even further. In Connecticut’s case their spending cuts and tax increase didn’t help either. Cryptocurrency is starting to sound good
