June 18, 2022 – Today’s Incoherent Thought

Oh i got a few incoherent thoughts from this past week

1. I don’t care about the private life of politicians.

Ok back that up a bit. Now if a politician is dumb enough to believe in multiple conspiracy theories then yeah I want them to have a psych test for all to see, but when it comes to these stories of Lauren Boebert having 2 abortions and the hypocrisy of it then no keep me out of it.

Yes, I think everyone drools over a hypocrisy story over a conspiracy theory story any minute of the day, but this story cries foul from every angle

First the violation of any HIPPA law if the story was leaked by any medical office/facility.

Secondly I get it, the Left (and possibly from the Right) are really trying to get the “crazy” out of office. Hey, fair is fair when it comes to playing dirty

Oh shut up, the Right plays dirty just as equally as the Left. No baseball is not the “Greatest American Past Time!” It’s politics from day #1.

Now you really can’t fully blame the Left for what happened to Madison Crawthorn, the kid’s ego was building from the second he got elected thanks to all the Media attention and he just didn’t know when to STFU. Plus, of all people, his Generation knows truly all too well how to work the Internet to find the scoop.

But this is what the people wanted; outsiders getting into office. And that’s how we end up with the AOC’s and MTG’s in office.

Yeah yeah, everyone is tired of the career politician (I’m still one calling for term limits for Congress and SCOTUS), but just to vote for any person because they “sound good” is why we have so many issues today.

I’ll take a Congress full of Moderates every day of the year because they know how to work together and get the job done, as opposed to today’s Congress of holding breathe and stomping feet.

2. I still believe in the end Gov DeSantis is the 2024 overall winner. No explanation needed

3. “Gas Cards For All”

Both Parties need to come to the future and don’t look back when it comes to ideas.

No we cannot cut tax or spend more to right the ship.

This whole notion of spending more by DEM’ers has got to stop. We cannot keep throwing money at issues in hopes to slow the current inflation issue.

And yes, GOP’ers have to realize cutting taxes ain’t an answer either, because there ain’t one of them that is a true Conservative. Every time they cut a tax, they spend more.

Neither Party ever has a plan, but it’s easier to bitch and moan about what the current Admin is doing then tell the American Voter your plan.

Well not until about 6 weeks before Election Day, then it’s an open book

4. “Gas Cards For All (Part 2)”

Again, I’ll keep saying it “You knew the gas mileage of the vehicle when you bought it” even if it was something you don’t need but it’s the “coolness” factor

Yes, gas prices were a lot less a few years ago, but that has nothing to do with a POTUS.

They don’t control prices.

Neither does Congress, to a point. Remember Congress are the ones who right the trade laws, a POTUS just signs his name

But put this into thought when complaining about gas prices; Oil companies pumped out a lot of oil between 2015 to 2020. They had a large stockpile, so prices were low. Covid hit and across the World oil companies slowed production as people stayed home, they laid off workers and slowed production.

Is it an excuse for current high prices, not completely but it is fact.

These were/are skilled jobs in the Oil Industry. Many of these folk busted their asses for years (maybe even decades), once they were laid off, they found new employment and currently enjoying a new lifestyle.

Now people are out and about, returning to the office and “revenge travel” or whatever the hell that’s supposed to mean.

Oil companies are kicking back, enjoying the moment of high profit as you load up your F-350 Quad Cab Dually to run to the store for a latest overpriced Iphone.

A POTUS telling oil execs to pump out more oil ain’t a solution either.

But what if a POTUS slapped some sort of moratorium or price freeze on gas prices, how would you react?

Oh I bet a whole bunch of people would cry “SOCIALISM” all over Social Media without a single breathe taken.

Hey just remember the 70’s when POTUS Dick Nixon slapped a 90-day freeze on wages and prices to counter inflation. It didn’t work out well.

But was he following the POTUS FDR playbook, because FDR slapped a whole bunch of price freezes and rationing during WWII

That’s it, slap the tap, pass the peanut bowl and pay your political tab (remember that tab is gonna rise come this Mid-Term)

CHEERS!
