Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes reportedly joked at a Fancy Farm Picnic in Kentucky on Friday that Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) “can be beaten,” referring to an attack that Paul suffered at his home last year from his Democrat neighbor.
Associated Press reporter Adam Beam tweeted that Grimes, a Democrat, said: “Just ask his neighbor. He can be beaten.”

Grimes’ remark quickly received a response from Paul’s chief strategist Doug Stafford, who humiliated her over her disastrous 2014 Senate run where she failed miserably to unseat Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
That’s almost as sad and pathetic as her last campaign. Mitch beat her so bad he almost got charged with a hate crime.

Grimes’ vile “joke” comes after Paul was assaulted at his home last November by his Democratic neighbor, Rene Boucher, where he suffered broken ribs and lung damage that led to pneumonia.
Paul was also at the baseball practice in Alexandria, Virginia, where a Democratic terrorist tried to kill numerous Republican lawmakers.
Last month, Paul also revealed that someone “threatened to kill me and chop up my family with an ax.”
The inflammatory rhetoric from Grimes comes after Democratic Rep. Maxine (CA) encouraged attacks on members of the Trump administration and Democratic Sen. Cory Booker (NJ) referred to supporters of Judge Brett Kavanaugh as “complicit in evil.”
