(CNS News) — British comedian and actor Eric Idle compared President Donald Trump to Nazi Germany’s Adolf Hitler on Twitter recently, noting that the socialist dictator “shot his bride and swallowed poison,” and adding: “There are many ways for Trump to leave office.”
On Sept. 13, Idle tweeted, “When Hitler refused to leave the bunker on his wedding day, he shot his bride and swallowed poison. There are many ways for Trump to leave office…”
“Breaking Fake News. Trump to pardon Hitler,” Idle said in another tweet.
