Then again, if HBO produces a 2016 campaign mini-series with the mix of the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and House of Cards well then you better make Denzell Washington plays POTUS Obama. But who would play candidate/POTUS Donnie? – PB/TK
Oh, Good: HBO is Making A Miniseries About The 2016 Election – Christine Rousselle March 6, 2017
In case you didn’t get enough of the 18 months of hell that was the 2016 election, HBO has you covered: They’ll be making a miniseries about the whole thing. Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, the authors of the book “Game Change” and its sequel “Double Down: Game Change 2012” will be back for round three, and HBO will bring the book to the small screen.
While I’m sure this will be well done, personally, I’m all set. I don’t need to relive the last two years of my life–once was more than enough. Unless there’s some sort of crazy insider info (like a confirmation of Hillary Clinton’s rumored election-night meltdown), I don’t think people are going to be too excited to re-watch one of the more polarizing periods of American history.
But who knows–I could be wrong. Maybe it’ll be amazing.
