Rubio: Russia Probe ‘Moving Forward’ Whether Trump Believes it Happened or Not – By Cathy Burke / June 18 2017
Sen. Marco Rubio insisted Sunday the investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election proceed because it’s “the best thing for America” – and for President Donald Trump.
In an interview on NBC News’ “Meet The Press,” the Florida Republican said a probe by special counsel Robert Mueller is “going to get the full truth out there.”
“I believe that the best thing that can happen for the president, for this administration, is for everything to come out,” he said. “And I believe that it will.”
In a separate interview Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Rubio said the investigation process also is “the best thing for America.”
