The Texas senator is on quite the cold streak when attending games in the Lone Star State.
Monday’s College Football Playoff semifinal battle between Texas and Washington was decided on the final play of regulation in a 37-31 Huskies’ victory. But those with a keen eye could have predicted the outcome far sooner.
Ted Cruz was spotted in attendance at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans prior to kickoff, with the Texas senator sporting burnt orange in support of the Longhorns. Cruz’s support may have marked a death wish of sorts for Steve Sarkisian’s squad.
