    While the Democratic Party continues to try and connect President Trump with Russia, recent revelations show Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank, has given huge amounts of money not to the president, but to Democratic insider John Podesta’s brother, Tony Podesta.

    Charles Ortel, who investigates potential Clinton Foundation corruption, said the Democratic Party was very quick to say President Trump had a connection with Russia, and that Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential campaign.

    But a recent article in The Daily Caller shows that while there is no definitive proof of a connection between Trump and Russia, there is proof of a connection between Russia and members of the Democratic Party.

    “Sberbank is if not the largest Russian bank, one of them. It featured heavily in the Clinton Cash book as the bank that helped arrange the purchase of Uranium One. So it’s a bank that’s very active in Russia, very tied into the Russian oligarchs. All during the 2016 campaign, and even now, the allegation has been from the Democrats “it’s Trump who has the Russian ties. Trump won’t explain his Russian ties.” Well recently, it’s just come out in an excellent article by Richard Pollock at the Daily Caller, documents just how much the Podesta Group which I think is run by Tony Podesta, John Podesta’s brother and their very close friends and business partners, the Podesta Group was being paid a lot of money by Sberbank during the campaign,” Ortel said.

    Ortel said this was not disclosed on the various forms as it should have been disclosed
