President Trump’s intelligence czar sought to smear Joe Biden on Wednesday by releasing a list of officials including the former vice president who were told about Michael Flynn’s lies during the presidential transition.
Acting Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell declassified a secret list of 39 officials to whom Flynn was “unmasked” by intelligence officials over his false claims about his cozy conversation with a top Russian diplomat.
Biden is on the list, along with FBI Director James Clapper, DNI James Clapper and several undercover intelligence agents whose identities were redacted.
It’s hardly surprising that the then-vice president would want to know that Flynn, who was incoming National Security Administrator at the time in early January 2017, had lied about his interaction with a hostile foreign power.
