WH Downplays Reports Trump May Go to Scotland Day Before Inauguration – By Brian Freeman (Newsmax) / January 5 2021
A report suggesting that President Donald Trump may be traveling to Scotland the day before the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden has been downplayed by the White House, Fox News reported on Tuesday.
Scotland’s Sunday Post reported that speculation surrounding Trump’s plans are based on sources saying that Prestwick airport has been told to expect on Jan. 19, the day before the inauguration, the arrival of a U.S. military Boeing 757 aircraft that is sometimes used by Trump.
In addition, U.S. Army aircraft that were based at Prestwick airport for a week were said to be conducting 3D reconnaissance of Trump’s Turnberry resort.
