Two veteran Democratic leaders — former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former Secretary of State John Kerry — are planning to pen down memoirs, according to announcement reports Wednesday.
Book publisher Simon & Schuster that released Clinton’s hugely successful autobiography “Living History” in 2003, for which Clinton was paid a near-record advance of $8 million, also announced Wednesday that apart from the yet to be named memoir, the publisher will also release a children’s picture book version of Clinton’s 1996 bestseller, “It Takes a Village,” to be illustrated by Marla Frazee.
According to the release by Simon & Schuster, Clinton’s memoir is set to be based in the form of personal essays “inspired by the hundreds of quotations she has been collecting for decades.”
