North Korea threatens the U.S. with quote overwhelming force after President Trump puts forward his national security strategy.
A spokesperson for the country’s foreign ministry claims the Trump administration has the intent to use military action against the rogue state.
The official says the U.S. will regret its strategy because Pyongyang will retaliate with its cannons.
Although, while laying out his national security plans earlier this month, the President reiterated the administration’s effort to solve the issue peacefully.
Our campaign of maximum pressure on the North Korean regime has resulted in the toughest-ever sanctions. We have united our allies in an unprecedented effort to isolate North Korea,” the President said “However, there is much more work to do. America and its allies will take all necessary steps to achieve a denuclearization and ensure that this regime cannot threaten the world.”
The administration has repeatedly said it hopes to come to a solution with North Korea peacefully, but adds all options are on the table
