Texas doctor falsely claims his daughter was attacked by Black Lives Matter activists in Baltimore – By ShaCamree Gowdy (Houston Chronicle) / Sept 17 2020
A Texas cardiologist went viral on his since-deleted Twitter account last weekend when he posted that his daughter had been attacked and her boyfriend beaten by Black Lives Matter activists in Baltimore, claiming the police refused to do anything because the alleged assailants were African American.
“Is this the America we want?” Andrea Natale, executive medical director at the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute at St. David’s Medical Center, tweeted, garnering almost 50,000 retweets and likes.
Real-time scanner radio information released by Scan the Police stated a woman called authorities to report that teenage windshield washers were throwing rocks at her car, according to the Baltimore Sun’s Justin Fenton, and based on this information, another Twitter user who archives scanner traffic was able to link the incident to Natale’s tweet.
“A group of BLM”?
You mean protesters? There wasn’t a protest yesterday. We were on the scanner & heard nothing of the sort of incident you mean, fwiw. We heard of adults trying to fight squeegee kids, if that’s what you mean? https://t.co/013xOeg7F3 https://t.co/HrEAVLYsu9
