A routine Corpus Christi City Council meeting received a shock interruption Tuesday.
Peter Zanoni, the city manager, was discussing the COVID-19 pandemic when another voice was heard over the loudspeakers.
“F*** you, Peter,” said Joseph Johnson, the city’s assistant director of parks and beach operations.
After the comment, which aired on the city’s live stream, another official asked virtual attendees to mute their microphones.
