I can understand both sides of the argument. Yeah I ain’t proud of some of US history but there’s reasoning behind it and how we, as a nation, grows. One side of the argument is no better then the other – PB/TK

City Treasurer Tishaura Jones created a GoFundMe pagelast week to raise money for the removal of a Confederate monument in Forest Park in St. Louis.

On Tuesday Black Lives Matter protesters and Confederate protesters clashed in Confederate Memorial in Forest Park in St. Louis.

The Confederate Memorial was dedicated in 1914 after the Ladies Confederate Monument Association raised $23,000 for its construction.

Police were called in to the Forest Park.
