C-SPAN: We Reported Caller’s Death Threat Against Brian Stelter, Don Lemon to the FBI – By Josh Feldman (mediate.com) / Aug 6 2018
C-SPAN has put out a statement today on the alarming death threat a caller made on-air towards CNN’s Brian Stelter and Don Lemon.
On Reliable Sources yesterday, Stelter actually played the audio of the threat and talked about the seriousness of the threats they and many other journalists face.
Just days ago New York Times columnist Bret Stephens and MSNBC’s Katy Tur made a point of talking about these kinds of threats too.
C-SPAN has now put out a statement revealing that they reported the threat to the FBI:

The statement also addresses the host’s seeming lack of a response to such an ugly threat, saying, “The C-SPAN host did not hear the comment.”
