Fired FBI Director James Comey admits he would have handled the Hillary Clinton email probe differently if he could do it all over again.
A report from Axios Saturday claims excerpts from his upcoming book indicate he believes he mishandled the Clinton investigation.
He says there were mistakes in how he conducted the press conference in which he said Clinton’s actions were extremely careless and recommended no charges against her.
Comey has come under fire over the situation, including from President Trump in a tweet Friday, in which he said the former director’s handling of the Clinton email probe will go down as one of the worst botch jobs in history.
