While President Trump’s monumental election still has the political establishment reeling, one author said the fight for conservatism in America has just begun.
Todd Starnes wrote the book “The Deplorables’ Guide to Making America Great Again”
He said Hillary Clinton drew a line in the sand when she called Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables.”
” I really do think when historians go back and unwrap what happened in the 2016 presidential election, I really do think one of the bellwether moments was when Hillary Clinton called half of Donald Trump supporters a “basket of deplorables.” And it wasn’t necessarily the word deplorable I think that caused a lot of people to decide to vote for Donald Trump, I think it was the word irredeemable,” Starnes said.
