Texans are showing up to the polls and proving “everything is bigger in Texas.” The state leads the country in early ballots cast in the so far in 2020 general election.
As of Sunday, more than 4 million Texans have voted, either through absentee ballots or in-person early voting, which began last Tuesday, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
Texas’ early voting period ends Oct. 30. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Some Texans tweeted their excitement about the news on Monday.
“Texas, that’s right, TEXAS, leads the nation in raw early voting numbers,” @RenaissanceXM tweeted. “… THIS IS HUGE!!”
“THIS is what I’m talking about,” @jasjanae wrote.
