Although veteran Democratic strategist James Carville believes Joe Biden has done a good job as president, he has been expressing doubts about the 81-year-old Democrat’s ability to win the 2024 presidential election. Carville, during an appearance on Bill Maher’s show “Club Random,” argued that Biden’s age and low poll numbers could put GOP frontrunner Donald Trump back in the White House.
But Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pennsylvania) disagrees and has promised to campaign for Biden in the Keystone State. During an interview with Politico’s Holly Otterbein published on December 26, Fetterman was highly dismissive of Carville’s views on Biden and said he needs to “shut the f*** up.”
Fetterman told the Philadelphia-based Otterbein, “I’ll use this (as) another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the f*** up. Like I said, my man hasn’t been relevant since grunge was a thing. And I don’t know why he believes it’s helpful to say these kinds of things about an incredibly difficult circumstance with an incredibly strong and decent and excellent president. I’ll never understand that.”
