GOP Rep. Jim Jordan Admits He Texted Mark Meadows About Overturning Certification Of Election – By Red Voice Media (Lifezette) / December 17, 2021
The witch hunt continues.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has admitted that he is the “lawmaker” who texted Mark Meadows the night before the Capitol January 6 incident regarding how then-Vice President Mike Pence could get out of certifying the 2020 election.
Daily Mail reported that Jordan confirmed through a spokesperson that he sent a three-paragraph summary of a longer legal argument that had been sent to him by attorney Joseph Schmitz. The following text was read out earlier this week by Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), a member of the January 6 committee:
On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all – in accordance with guidance from founding father Alexander Hamilton and judicial precedence.
‘No legislative act,’ wrote Alexander Hamilton in Federalist No. 78, ‘contrary to the Constitution, can be valid.’
