Health Care Company Under Investigation for Million Dollar Ties to Gov. Andrew Cuomo – By OAN Newsroom (oann.com) / May 15 2018
The Manhattan Attorney’s Office is investigating a health care company that received millions in state grants after contributing heavily to New York’s governor.
Reports Monday said the investigation into Crystal Run Health Care was revealed through recent federal grand jury subpoenas seeking testimony from employees.
The company gave at least $400,000 to Governor Andrew Cuomo’s campaign in a series of 10 donations of $25,000 each in 2013.
The probe comes after the State Department of Health gave $25.4 million to Crystal Run to construct two new facilities in 2016.
Cuomo’s office declined to comment on the ongoing investigation.
