Jared Kushner Slammed By ‘Vox’ Writer For Using ‘Meaningless Corporate Buzzwords’ In Coronavirus Presser Debut – By Nathan Francis (Inquisitr) / April 2 2020

Jared Kushner earned plenty of criticism after his appearance at the White House’s daily coronavirus presser on Thursday. One of Kushner’s critics on Twitter, Vox writer Aaron Rupar, mocked what he saw as “meaningless corporate buzzwords” deployed by Kushner during the latter’s address to the American people.

The White House adviser, who is also the son-in-law of President Donald Trump, has reportedly assumed a large and important role in the administration’s response to the coronavirus, per Politico. With top medical expert Dr. Anthony Fauci not attending the daily conference, Kushner spoke to the public on the issue for the first time.

The appearance did not go over well with many of Trump’s critics, including Rupar, who slammed the White House adviser’s use of what he perceived to be empty cliches as Kushner spoke to reporters.

Kushner was also criticized for appearing to push back against the states that have pressed the federal government to do more in distributing much-needed medical supplies. Kushner claimed that the federal reserve of ventilators was not meant to be shared with states.
