Let’s see: your State has a population of nearly 4.4 million with roughly 22% enrolled in Medicaid & CHiP + being ranks as the 44th healthiest & 44th highest unemployment rate of the US. Kentucky’s governor wants people who receive Medicaid benefits to be required to work in order to gain health benefits.
Governor Matt Bevin is asking the Trump administration for permission to impose stricter work requirements for those on Medicaid.
The newly proposed work program would require “able-bodied adults without dependents” to work at least 20 hours a week.
