NBA Coach Steve Kerr Gets Roasted for Accusing Pence of Lying about Iran/Soleimani Connection to 9/11 – By Nick Arama (Red State) / Jan 5 2020
Folks on the left had a meltdown over a tweet from Vice President Mike Pence saying that the 9/11 hijackers had a connection to Iran. Pence tweeted that Soleimani “assisted in the clandestine travel to Afghanistan of 10 of the 12 terrorists who carried out the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in the United States.”
Among the people who flipped out was Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr.
Kerr is an avowed critic of the administration and has attacked President Donald Trump many times.
You may recall when he caught flak over the China-NBA controversy for a weaselly statement that was viewed as kowtowing to China when asked for his comment about an NFL general manager expressing support for Hong Kong protesters.

“A lot of us don’t know what to make of it, it’s something I’m reading about… but I’m not going to comment,” he said in October. “What I’ve found is that it’s easy to speak on issues that I’m passionate about and that I feel like I’m well-versed on, and I’ve found that it makes the most sense to stick to topics that fall in that category.”
On Saturday, he attacked Pence, accusing him of lying about Iran and Soleimani’s connection to the 9/11 attackers.
