President Trump and his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta recently discussed the positive relationship between the two nations.
Speaking at the White House Monday, the President Trump expressed confidence the two sides will work together on a number of agreements.
Additionally, Kenyatta said both countries have “excellent cooperation” in fighting terrorism, adding, he wants to strengthen trade and investment ties.

The president specifically discussed one deal that is currently in the works.
“We have a tremendous relationship with Kenya, we have terrorism, a lot of trade, getting bigger and bigger all the time,” stated President Trump. “We’re working on a major infrastructure project, a massive roadway that will be record-setting in many ways, and we are going to conclude a lot of good things.”
Kenya’s president will also sit down with U.S. business executives to discuss investment in his country during his trip.
