Several Texas politicians announced they are giving back contributions from Sam Bankman-Fried or his associates, but not the Houston congressman.

Unlike several Texas politicians returning donations from disgraced cryptocurrency mogul Sam Bankman-Fried, who is accused of making tens of millions of dollars in illegal campaign donations, U.S. Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Houston) will not be scrambling to do the same with a donation from another FTX exec.

Bankman-Fried, the former CEO of cryptocurrency exchange FTX, is accused of several criminal violations, including securities fraud, wire fraud, and several conspiracy counts involving money laundering and campaign finance violations.

Justin Discigil, an aide for Crenshaw, told The Dallas Morning News the Republican doesn’t plan on returning a $2,900 donation Ryan Salame, an FTX executive—who has not formally been accused of wrongdoing—contributed to his reelection campaign because the congressman receives donations from “thousands upon thousands” of people.
