Rev. Graham: Christianity Today Magazine Sides With ‘Elitist, Liberal Wing of Evangelicalism’ – By Michael W. Chapman (CNS News) / Dec 23 2019
In response to Christianity Today’s Editor-in-Chief Mark Galli siding with the Democrats on impeachment and removal of President Trump from office, Rev. Franklin Graham denounced the publication for invoking his father — Pastor Billy Graham, who voted for Trump — and explained that Galli and CT represent the “elitist liberal wing of evangelicalism.”
In a Dec. 19 editorial at Christianity Today, Galli, who is retiring in January, said “Trump should be removed from office” and, accepting the Democrats’ version of events with the Ukraine phone call, claimed that Trump violated the Constitution and acted in a “profoundly immoral” way.
Galli also said that Trump “is a near perfect example of a human being who is morally lost and confused.”

In a Dec. 20 post on Facebook, Rev. Franklin Graham responded, “Christianity Today released an editorial stating that President Trump should be removed from office — and they invoked my father’s name (I suppose to try to bring legitimacy to their statements), so I feel it is important for me to respond.”
“Yes, my father Billy Graham founded Christianity Today; but no, he would not agree with their opinion piece,” said Franklin Graham. “In fact, he would be very disappointed.”
