(CNS News.com) – Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said it is possible for the United States to engage in free trade with a communist country such as the People’s Republic of China.
At the Capitol on Tuesday, CNSNews.com asked Romney, “The U.S. trade deficit with China in 2021 was more than $300 billion for the tenth year in a row. Can the United States have free trade with a communist country?”
The senator said, “Yeah, we just have to make sure we have the products and services that they want to buy.”
