Sheetz convenience stores and gas stations said today it has been awarded grants to expand access to electric vehicle charging stations.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation awarded six grants to Sheetz as well as another six to individual locations.
Sheetz said PennDOT awarded $33.8 million in grants to 54 projects in 35 counties as part of the National Vehicle Electric Infrastructure program.
