‘Sorry, Nick’: Video Shows Cop Accidentally Tasering Partner
    By Alberto Luperon (lawandcrime.com) / Dec 4 2017

Next time you’re mad at a coworker, just be glad they didn’t tase you. Cops in Ohio released dash-cam and body-cam footage last week of an incident where one officer accidentally hit his partner with a stun-gun. The incident happened Nov. 23 in the city of Riverside, according to WDTN.

Cops said they got a call about a domestic violence incident. They checked it out. Footage shows two officers performing a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by a woman, with a man in the passenger seat. They question the guy, asking him for his ID. This man allegedly didn’t give over identification, so the two cops pulled him out of the vehicle. One apparently pulled out a stun gun, but in doing so, accidentally struck his partner with a prong.

“Sorry, Nick,” said the first cop.

“It’s alright,” said Nick, on bellydown on the ground. He sustained minors injuries. His partner is reportedly back to work.

The passenger 22-year-old Christopher McClinton faces charges of resisting arrest, obstructing an official, and failure to disclose, according to Montgomery County jail records obtained by Law&Crime. He remains in custody, and is scheduled for a court hearing set for Thursday.
