Texas bill proposes $100 fine on men for each time they masturbate – by Sinclair Broadcast Group
A proposed bill submitted in the Texas state legislature addresses men’s masturbation habits.
According to CNN, Rep. Jessica Farrar, a Democrat serving a district in Houston, knows her bill won’t travel far, using it to “make a point and give male lawmakers a taste of their own medicine.”
The bill would fine a man $100 each time he masturbates and imposes a day-long waiting period before getting a colonoscopy, vasectomy, or Viagra.
Calling it a “satirical” bill, The Houston Chronicle reports HB4260 also encourages abstinence and even dictates where men are allowed to masturbate: “inside health care and medical facilities.”
Farrar has been outspoken about bills targeting women’s health in Texas.
