    Texas may be a lot of things, but lazy isn’t one of them.

    In fact, for the second year in a row, personal finance website WalletHub ranks Texas as the fourth hardest-working state in the country. The Lone Star State comes in behind North Dakota, Alaska and Wyoming, respectively.

    The Lone Star State also ranks No. 14 in commute time and No. 26 in unemployment.

    The study compared the 50 states across 10 key indicators, ranging from average hours worked per week, the number of employees with multiple jobs and annual volunteer hours logged per worker.

    As far as highest average of hours put in during the workweek, Texas comes in at No. 4 in that category too.
