I watched a good portion of POTUS Donnie’s immigration and violent crime speech and at times I acted like Porkins in Star Wars by repeatedly saying “Stay on Target, Stay on Target” because Donnie seems to zigzag his speeches.
Yeah he did talk of criminal suspects like MS-13 bumping their heads on the squad car while being placed in the backseat and so on.
This is what gets me, MS-13 has been in the US for a good 30 years, mainly residing in Southern Cali, Nevada and Arizona areas at the time and little national attention was given until the past 6 years when they began becoming visible in the Northeast.
So let’s go back in time over the past 30 years and how many POTUS’ has there been and nothing was done: Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, Obama, and now Trump.
Yup, I’d had expected a few of these guys to have done something for Police, ICE, and FBI to have done something – PB/TK
Trump appears to advocate rough police treatment of suspects – By Jill Colvin / July 28 2017
BRENTWOOD, N.Y. — Talking tough on illegal immigration and violent crime, President Donald Trump appeared Friday to advocate rougher treatment of people in police custody, speaking dismissively of arresting officers who protect the heads of handcuffed suspects while putting them in patrol cars.
“Don’t be too nice,” said Trump. He visited Suffolk County, New York, to highlight administration efforts to crack down on illegal immigration and violent crime, and in particular the street gang known as MS-13, which has terrorized communities on Long Island and in other parts of the country.
The president urged Congress to find money to pay for 10,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers “so that we can eliminate MS-13.”
Trump said the administration is removing these gang members from the United States “but we’d like to get them out a lot faster and when you see … these thugs being thrown into the back of the paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in rough, I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice.'”
