CNN reporter Jim Acosta, who routinely spouts fake news and is regularly ripped to shreds by President Trump, is getting his 15 minutes of fame.
At a “Make America Great Again” rally on Monday, Acosta was asked to sign a Trump fan’s campaign sign. He did, writing: “CNN is real news.”
In a video posted by CNN’s Matt Hoye, Acosta held up the sign — on which the Trump fan had written “CNN is fake news.”
“At last realDonaldTrump Trump rally of the season for us in Fort Wayne, Indiana Acosta got dozens of requests to sign autographs but this one cracked me up. cnnrealnews,” Hoye said in a tweet.

Acosta often gets smacked around by Trump — and by White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders. He went after her earlier this month, asking Sanders if she thought there was “something wrong” with Trump “mocking” Christine Blasey Ford — even though her story has been thoroughly discredited by the prosecutor who questioned her and new accusations have surfaced that suggest she lied under oath.
“Are you saying Judge Kavanaugh is the victim in all of this?” Acosta asked Sanders.
“I think both Dr. Ford and Judge Kavanaugh are victims at the hands of the Democrats,” Sanders responded. “I think it is absolutely disgraceful what they’ve done and exploited this process.”
“You don’t have a problem defending the president’s comments last night?” Acosta replied.
“I don’t have a problem stating facts,” Sanders answered. “I know that’s something you probably do have a problem with but I don’t.”
