USS Rafael Peralta Commissioned in Honor of Fallen Marine – OANN / July 29 2017
A fallen Marine is honored by the Navy with his name on a new ship.
The USS Rafael Peralta was commissioned during a ceremony on Naval Air Station North Island, in California.
Peralta, who was awarded the Navy Cross after his death in 2004, saved the lives of other marines after smothering a grenade with his own body during a battle in Fallujah.
