According to The Mercury News, the team’s full roster was in the picture with the exception of player Jonas Jerebko, who had reportedly been traveling at the time for the birth of his second kid.
The team reportedly met with Obama for nearly an hour.
Traditionally, championship teams typically visit the White House when traveling to the nation’s capital. However, the Warriors have had tense relations in the past with President Trump, who disinvited the team to the White House in 2017.
At the time, Trump had publicly rescinded the invitation to the team after star player Stephen Curry said he probably would not attend.
“Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team,” Trump tweeted then. “Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!”
