Longtime conservative commentator and radio host Rush Limbaugh is in the fight of his life. He was recently diagnosed with advanced lung cancer. The announcement sparked scores of well wishes and prayers from real Americans and other conservatives from across the country. Liberals reacted with glee—no shock there. Julio has more:
Limbaugh said he noticed something was wrong during his birthday weekend in January.
“And I wish I didn’t have to tell you this and I thought about not telling anybody. I thought about trying do this without anybody knowing because I don’t like making things about me. But there are going to be days when I’m not going to be be here because I’m undergoing treatment or I’m reacting to treatment,” he said.
Limbaugh said his absences would not go unnoticed and it was better to be up front with what was happening than trying to cover it up.
