A school district in East Texas has condemned a video that spread on social media of students repeatedly using racial slurs.

Students from Vidor ISD recorded a video of themselves saying the racial slurs that were shared in a private Instagram group called “KKK” that have since been made public on social media, the Express-News reports.

User @caileneasely posted the video Friday, April 22, on TikTok with the school’s phone number urging people to report the students and video, who can be seen using the racial slurs in the hallways of what appears to be a school.

Vidor ISD Superintendent Jay Killgo told the Express-News in a statement that three students have been disciplined and could be facing more punishment after a hearing on Monday, April 26.
