Texas AG, currently under federal investigation, vows to challenge Biden administration – By Priscilla Aguirre (MySA) / January 20 2021
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton released a statement on Wednesday that is not sitting well with many of his constituents.
Paxton, who is under federal investigation, congratulated President Joe Biden but also said he will continue to fight against the many unconstitutional and illegal actions the new administration is going to take.
“(I will continue to) challenge federal overreach that infringes’ on Texas rights, and serve as a major check against the administration’s lawlessness,” Paxton said in his statement he released on Twitter. “Texas First! Law & Order always!”
