Senator Ted Cruz has some advice for his neighbors who sent screenshots of his wife Heidi’s text messages to the New York Times last week.
“Here’s a suggestion,” Cruz said. “Just don’t be a—holes. Just treat each other as human beings. Have some modicum of respect.”
In a 30-minute interview on the most recent episode of “Ruthless,” a popular conservative podcast, posted Tuesday morning, Cruz detailed problems Texas faced as more than 4 million homes lost power during the Arctic blast and then got into his controversial trip to Cancun in the middle of the freeze.
It should be noted that Cruz was asking for respect on a podcast that dubbed itself “Ruthless” shortly after Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg died and the podcast logo features the title over a photo of the Supreme Court.
